Short Let Administrator

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join the successful Oxford City team on a full time basis.

 

The main purpose of this role is to handle short let enquiries across a number of website portals, deal with telephone enquiries and walk in guests. You will be required to negotiate the best rate for all bookings with property owners and guests, and prepare the necessary paperwork in order to confirm a booking. It will also be the responsibility of the administrator to manage the property listings on the website and all booking portals. They will also be expected to help cover aspects of the management of the property when required.

 

Salary dependent on experience.

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Exceptional administration skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Word and Excel
  • Flexible approach
  • Previous experience in estate agency or customer service role
  • Full, clean, UK driving license

Lettings Negotiator

  

  •  Full time, based in Oxford City
  • Registering applicants and arranging appointments
  • Taking landlord enquiries and booking market appraisals
  • Carrying out viewings with prospective tenants
  • Giving viewing feedback to landlords
  • Accepting and negotiating offers with applicants and landlords
  • Advising clients on marketing strategies
  • Tenancy administration from offer agreed to move in, including drawing up tenancy agreements and invoices.
  • Preparing and sending of Section 21 notices
  • Working closely with property management and other departments to provide efficient service
  • New business generation
  • Miscellaneous tasks as required
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8.30am - 6.00pm, working 1 in 5 Saturdays from 8.45am - 3.00pm with a lieu day to be taken in the week.

 

 

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, good written and verbal communication skills and will enjoy working as part of a team. You should have a full, clean, UK driving license and your own car is essential (mileage paid). ARLA qualified is preferable but not essential.

  • Answering the telephone
  • Meeting and greeting new and existing clients
  • Preparing window displays
  • Arranging tenant viewings and property valuations
  • Responding to general enquiries by phone and email
  • Processing tenancy applications
  • Progressing tenants' references
  • Preparing tenancy agreements and associated paperwork
  • Handling landlord and tenant queries
  • Ensuring documents and funds are in order before tenants move in
