James, based in the Summertown office, has led a long and distinguished career as an estate agent in Oxford. He brings 23 years of estate agency experience to Penny & Sinclair, having founded the firm in May 2009. James oversees the firm’s operations and ensures that exceptional customer service remains the hallmark of its reputation.
Based in Oxford City, and with over 25 years estate agency experience in Oxford, Oliver has an unparalleled understanding of the Oxford property market and heads up Penny & Sinclair’s City office. Oliver has built a strong reputation in the Oxford residential market for his educated, realistic and accurate advice. He acts for several institutions and has an excellent knowledge of the property investment market.
James, based and raised in Henley on Thames, brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in running successful and market leading offices across Oxfordshire. James has spent the last 4 years working in Henley itself and he has a deep understanding of the local market. James will ensure you receive the very best advice and outstanding customer service.
Emma, heads up Penny & Sinclair's Burford office and started her career in estate agency over 20 years ago working for a large independent agency in central London. She is very experienced in all areas of residential sales in particular dealing with leases/extensions and investments. Emma continues to build strong relationships within the local community.
John, based in Oxford City, is Associate Director - Head of Property Management and has been working in the Lettings & Property Management sector for the last 12 years. John's approach is to exceed landlords and tenants expectations and his objective is teamwork along with providing excellent customer service.
Lucy, based in the Summertown Office, is Associate Director - Head of Lettings and has worked in the industry, both residential and corporate, since 2004. Lucy adopts a friendly, practical and flexible approach in all her dealings with clients. She is ARLA qualified and has an in depth knowledge of the lettings and legal process.
Lizanne, based in the Summertown office, has a strong understanding of the Oxford property market and has helped to develop Penny & Sinclair’s reputation for excellent customer service, by consistently going to great lengths for her clients and recognising the value of properties as homes, as well as financial assets.
Rob, based in Oxford City and originally from Devon, served 12 years in the RAF. He spent the next 17 years working in the property industry locally before joining Penny & Sinclair. Rob is a well-structured and organised person with the ability to foresee problems and deal with them effectively.
Stephen, based in the Summertown office, joined Penny & Sinclair in 2012 and brings with him over 20 years estate agency experience. James and Oliver have known Stephen since the early 1990's. Stephen heads the Country Department and has an in depth knowledge of Oxfordshire village and country property.
Julia has been with Penny & Sinclair in Summertown since 2011 and brings a warm, professional approach to vendors and purchasers. She takes time to listen and understand the requirements of both in order to give excellent customer service.
Kate, based in the Summertown office, joined Penny & Sinclair in January 2014 and brings with her over 15 years experience in the Oxfordshire property market. Kate's focus is ensuring Penny & Sinclair provide the best possible service to buyers and sellers alike whilst helping the business grow as one of Oxfordshire’s leading independent estate agents.
Senior Sales Negotiator
Angie, based in Oxford city, joined the company at the start of 2012 and brought with her a wealth of experience, gained through a rich background in entrepreneurial ventures. She is an invaluable member of the team and works extremely hard to achieve the very best for her clients. Her passion and commitment enhances Penny & Sinclair’s exceptional customer service.
Charlotte, based in the Henley on Thames office, has been a lettings Manager locally for the last 9 years following 12 successful years in London. Charlotte is passionate about the property industry and building strong relationships with both landlords and tenants, ensuring she always provides a top-class service. She has an in-depth understanding of the lettings industry, including tenancy law, property management and general lettings practice.
Based in the city office, Adam has been working within the lettings industry in and around Oxford since 2010 having previously worked in various sales roles. He has an in depth knowledge of the lettings process and is ARLA qualified. Adam’s friendly and calm approach is well received by landlords and tenants alike.
Lisa, based in the Burford office, brings many years of letting and property management experience. She has an excellent knowledge of Burford & West Oxfordshire lettings market and can offer an educated view of the market. She is always cheerful, friendly and a team player.
Short Let Manager
Carie Ann, based in Oxford City, joined the Short Let team in 2016 with 7 years’ experience in Short Lets. She moved from another local agent with a strong passion and dedication for the industry. Her role includes overseeing the Short Let department, developing new business and providing excellent customer service.
Short Let Assistant Manager
Vanessa, based in Oxford city, has recently returned to Penny & Sinclair having been travelling. Vanessa brings with her a wealth of property experience. She particular enjoys working with overseas clients who travel from all over the world to stay in our short let properties. Vanessa is an excellent point of contact for Short Let guests & owners.
Assistant Lettings Manager
Helen, based in Oxford City, joined Penny and Sinclair in 2012. Originally based in Summertown she moved to join the Lettings team in Oxford City in 2014. In this time she has developed an in depth knowledge of both the Oxford market and lettings industry as a whole. Helen brings a keen eye for detail and a dedication to giving excellent service to all that she does.
Senior Property Manager
Samantha, based in Oxford city, has worked in Property Management for 11 years in both national and independent lettings. She is highly organised and an excellent problem solver which is imperative in a high pressure Property Management environment. Samantha is able to establish good working relationships with landlords and tenants and ensures properties are well maintained.
Senior Lettings Negotiator
Naomi, based in the Summertown office, has over 3 years’ experience in the Oxford lettings market having worked in Headington and Summertown. Naomi is ARLA qualified and has developed a keen appreciation of both the Oxford market and lettings industry as a whole. Naomi specialises in matching tenants’ and landlords’ requirements to ensure they find their perfect property. Raised and educated locally she has an in depth knowledge of the local area.
Charlotte, based in the City office, has been working in property management for the last two years. She possess strong organisational skills and she is always ready to overcome the daily challenges that property management delivers. Charlotte strives in building good working relationships with her landlords and tenants and is always on hand to help out where she can.
Yasmin, based in the Burford office, has 5 years experience in different agencies across the Cotswolds. She helps run the day to day administration, negotiation and 'front-line' alongside our Sales team. Raised and educated locally she is very well connected with our area and in her spare time looks after her horses.
Rose, based in Oxford city, has relocated to Oxford from a high pressure coordination background working in the fashion industry. Rose brings strong communication and organisation skills and continues to develop her knowledge of the property market in Oxford. With 13 years of client service experience, Rose will go above and beyond for buyers and sellers providing a friendly and attentive welcome.
Chris, after recently returning to Oxfordshire, has joined the Property Management team based in the City office. Chris brings over 2 years property management experience and is ARLA qualified. He prides himself on his “can do” attitude and personal service. Building and maintaining strong relationships is where Chris excels and is a welcome addition to the busy Property Management department.
Libby, based in the Henley on Thames office, was inspired to join the property industry after buying her first home. She has enjoyed a successful career working for various property agents as a sales negotiator in both Oxfordshire & Berkshire. Henley is Libby's home town and she brings with her extensive knowledge on the local area.
Tom, based in the Summertown office, joined Penny & Sinclair in August 2017 to assist in the busy lettings department. He has several years’ experience in client centred and customer service roles. As a resident of north Oxford, Tom has an excellent understanding of the local area and is available to give advice to both landlords and tenants.
Short Let Property Management
Carmen has worked for Penny & Sinclair for several years in our busy Short Let and refurbishment department. She has an excellent eye for detail and coordinates the interiors and furnishings of many of our Short Let properties. Carmen always ensures projects are finished to a high standard whilst being on budget.
Property Management Assistant
Georgia, based in Oxford city, joined the company in October 2016. Georgia originally started within the Accounts department and then moved over to the Property Management team at the start of the new year. She brings strong organisational, administrative and customer service skills. Georgia is always on hand to answer any queries from tenants and landlords.
Corinne is a sales negotiator in the Oxford city office and has been with the company since 2014. She brings a wealth of property expertise with her having worked for a luxury property company that dealt with properties in France, Italy and Morocco. Corinne provides a calm and focused service for buyers and sellers alike and is usefully multilingual.
Diana has worked for Penny & Sinclair for several years at both our Summertown and Burford offices. She is an integral part of the Burford Sales team, working closely with vendors and purchasers to ensure a smooth property journey.
Sarah, based in the Burford office, has worked at both our Oxford and Burford offices and is an integral part of the Sales team. Working closely with our purchasers and vendors her local knowledge is invaluable.
