Nearby is the popular New Hinksey Primary School and Hinksey Park is a wonderful recreational space with a swimming pool and splash area (opens on 3rd April), tennis courts, allotments and sports fields. The city centre is very accessible by frequent buses, or approx. a 20 mins level walk. There are delightful walks in the vicinity include Thames towpath to town or Iffley Lock & Boars Hill, the railway station has services to London Paddington and from the coach station at Gloucester Green there are services to London airports.
