Description
A mid-terraced 2 bed cottage with much character and mature west facing garden in charming village setting.

5 Coronation Cottages, built in 1885, is a pretty mid-terrace cottage with charm and character. Situated opposite the school, the house is approached via a gate with a path leading up to a painted wooden porch with tiled floor. The front door opens into the sitting room with a window overlooking the front of the property. The room has a stone floor and retains the charming original wooden ceiling beams. A wood burning stove sits in the brick faced chimney breast. A wooden door leads into the dining room with original beamed ceiling, stone floor, wall lights, tongue and groove panelling to dado height along one wall and an understairs cupboard. Leading off from the dining room is the kitchen with a slate tiled floor, Smeg range oven and hob, built in fridge and Belfast sink situated in front of the kitchen window and overlooking the rear garden. A stable door leads into the back garden. The adjacent bathroom is fitted with white sanitary ware and a heated towel rail.

Winding stairs with a wooden handrail lead up to the first floor where 2 double bedrooms can be found both with windows overlooking the front of the house and with what appears to be original floorboards. The master bedroom has a small original fireplace and tiled hearth. Access to the loft is on the landing.

The pretty west facing rear garden with apple tree is laid mainly to lawn with pretty flower beds and a patio area close to the house. There is a useful shed at the rear of the garden with electric power. A garden gate provides access to private parking and a further shed.
