The village also offers pre and primary schools, Coop store, , restaurants and hotels. More extensive amenities are found nearby in Abingdon, Wallingford and Oxford. Communication is good with M40 (J7) about 10 miles and Didcot Parkway Station, about 7 miles, with services to London/Paddington from about 40 minutes. The village also gives access to footpaths and bridleways to Wittenham Clumps and along the river.
